A pregnant mother and her terminally ill fiance are stuck in Mexico facing an outrageous bill of $43,000 to get back to Australia - and she only has four weeks left before she's too close to her due date to fly.
Bec Paton and Jay Morrow told their heart-wrenching story on the Today show on Wednesday and were shocked when a generous viewer offered to pay for their flights home.
Mr Morrow, 34, has been fighting aggressive liver cancer for 18 months and decided to seek radical treatment overseas when it spread to his lymph nodes.
Ms Paton supported him through the treatment but at 29 weeks pregnant, she needs to be home within four weeks or she will be forced to give birth in Mexico.

The Melbourne couple are also desperate to get home to their two daughters, Madisyn, 6, and Taylah, 12.
Ms Paton is disappointed airlines are taking advantage of the situation by only selling business class tickets.
The Australian Government has capped incoming passenger numbers during the global COVID-19 pandemic and introduced mandatory hotel quarantine for returning travellers.
The couple has a flight booked to Madrid on Thursday but flights to Australia from Spain will cost up to $40,000 and hotel quarantine in Sydney is $3,000.
'It's very overwhelming. It's taking advantage of all the people stranded overseas, normal people can't afford that,' she said.
Today show host Allison Langdon broke down in tears when she told the couple a benefactor would pay for their upcoming flights.
The shocked couple said they 'had no words' to describe the generosity of the anonymous donor.
'We are still very much in shock, it was so much to take in, we are so grateful,' said Ms Paton.
Co-host Karl Stefanovic called it 'a real Kleenex moment'.

The couple raised $60,000 for the potentially life-saving treatment in Mexico after exhausting all treatment options in Australia.
Mr Morrow held back tears as he revealed the results from Mexico have given him hope.
'The treatment has been amazing. My tumour shrunk by 10 per cent, all my blood work looks really good and my tumour markers are down,' he explained.
Ms Paton said watching Mr Morrow stay strong through 18 months of radiation and other treatment was inspiring.
