Higher educational institutions can open from September 1!

Unlock 4.0 is starting in the country from September 1 and gradually the country is moving towards fully unlocked. However, the pace of corona infection in the country is steadily increasing. There are reports that the Ministry of Home Affairs may release the guidelines for Unlock 4.0 soon. From September 1, the fourth phase of the unlock process in the country i.e. Unlocks 4.0 will start. Because of the increasing cases of corona infection, partial and weekly lockdowns continue in many states of the country.


Continuous efforts are also underway to prevent infection. The latest news is that Unlock 4.0 Guideline will be released soon. According to media reports, the metro service can be restored from 1 September. Although schools will open, it is unlikely. Similarly, cinema halls will not be opened yet. According to sources, Unlock 4.0 guidelines will be released this week. It is being considered to open higher educational institutions like IITs, IIMs, and Universities.

Since March 3, educational institutions are closed due to the Corona epidemic, which is having a profound impact on children's education. Although the government had directed all schools and colleges to start online classes, it could not prove to be effective especially due to the lack of proper system and availability of smartphones in the village areas. 4.0 is considering opening local trains and metro train service from the first week of September. The government may allow the opening of single-screen cinema halls as well. However, strict conditions will be laid for this. Similarly, the government may also allow the opening of auditoriums, halls, etc. They are set to have conditions such as social distancing, thermal screening, temperature check, crowd gathering below capacity.
