An Australian mother has managed to get 18 new Disney Plus Ooshies from a small $31 Woolworths grocery shop, despite the rule being one collectable for every $30 spent.
The 36 Disney+ fan favourites landed in stores on Wednesday August 26, featuring iconic characters from Marvel, Star Wars, Disney and Pixar.
The keen shopper headed to her closest store in Sydney at 7.45am to be one of the first to get their hands on the tiny figurines, and ended up scoring more than she bargained for by purchasing specific brands.

In this woman's case she had two packets of Uncle Toby's oats, five Danone YoPro yoghurts and five Pauls squeezie yoghurts and five Macro organic pouches that awarded her 17 bonus Ooshies - plus she got an extra one for spending over $30
Customers can score more than one themed figurine in a single transaction if they buy selected products from participating brands such as Uncle Toby's, Tip Top, Oral B, Huggies, Sorbent, Woolworths Macro Organic and McCain.
In this woman's case she had two packets of Uncle Toby's oats, five Danone YoPro yoghurts, five Pauls squeezie yoghurts and five Macro organic pouches that awarded her 17 bonus Ooshies - plus she got an extra one for spending over $30.
Every week, the supermarket will nominate selected products from its catalogue that are eligible for a bonus Disney Plus Ooshie collectable.

Customers can score more than one themed figurine in a single transaction if they buy selected products from participating brands
'If a customer purchases five products from one participating brand, they will receive five bonus Ooshies,' a Woolworths spokesperson told FEMAIL.
The spokesperson confirmed shoppers will be limited to five items per shop for any eligible bonus brand.
Last year, shoppers found a loophole to score more than 10 Lion King Ooshies for just $30 after their grocery bill included selected items such as $2 hand washes and $1.80 cat food.
The new Ooshies feature iconic characters like Darth Vader, Elsa, Buzz Lightyear, Thor, Ariel, Yoda, Black Panther and Moana.

The collection includes silver, gold, colour changing, glow in the dark, and additional glitter edition Ooshies, which can all be kept in a limited-edition box.
'We know many Aussie families have had a challenging year, so we're partnering with Disney to give our customers something exciting to look forward to from their everyday shop,' Woolworths chief marketing officer Andrew Hicks said earlier this week.
'Whether it's Woody, a hologram Princess Leia or a glow in the dark Yoda, we're confident the collection is something the entire family can enjoy and collect together.'
Woolworths has also teamed up with TerraCycle to offer customers a sustainable way to recycle their previous Ooshies.

Every Woolworths store will have dedicated recycle bins so customers can drop any pre-loved collectables and wrapper to be recycled until January 31, 2021.
The paper wrapper can also be recycled at home in the yellow bin.
Unfortunately there will be a delay on the launch for customers in Victoria until lockdown restrictions ease to focus on store operations and safety of team members and customers.
To keep Victorian fans entertained until then, Disney+ is offering eligible Everyday Rewards members in Victoria a 14 day free trial of Disney+, giving them access to thousands of hours of films and series.

'We know some customers in Victoria will be disappointed by the delayed roll out, but the safety and wellbeing of our customers, team members, and community remains our number one priority,' Mr Hicks said.
'The delay will allow our team to focus on operations and supplying customers with their everyday essentials during this challenging period.
'Once restrictions ease and we can safely roll out the program, we look forward to sharing the Disney magic with our Victorian customers.'
