Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi held a virtual meeting on Wednesday with chief ministers of Congress-ruled states and their counterparts of West Bengal, Maharashtra and Jharkhand. Targeting the Centre at the meeting, the leaders discussed issues like Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Mains) and the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. Speaking at the meet, Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray said that Opposition chief ministers should speak louder as the Central government is trying to suppress our voice. Mamata Banerjee said that states should together go to the Supreme Court with a review plea and get the exams postponed.
