Candolim
Eight COVID-19 cases were detected in the jurisdiction of the Candolim primary health centre which included two cases each in Sangolda, Pilerne and Reis Magos while one case each was detected in Saligao and Candolim area.
According to Candolim PHC health officer Dr Roshan Nazareth, out of the two cases reported in Sangolda one patient is working in a parking area of a mall while the other is the wife of a patient who was found positive a few
days back.
One of the cases detected in Pilerne is a worker at a construction site while the other is the wife of a patient who had tested positive some days back.
The two cases reported from Reis Magos from Ambekhand Waddo are a father and daughter who are migrant workers staying in the slum area.
While in Saligao, one case that has come positive is a person working at a shop in Porvorim where two workers had tested positive.
While in Candolim, father of a girl who had tested positive on Monday has tested psotive on Tuesday. The two are staying at Pintrus Waddo.
Meanwhile, the Candolim PHC on Tuesday conducted test of swab samples of 45 high risk contacts, said Dr Roshan.
