In the country where thousands of corona infected patients are increasing daily. At the same time, the Union Health Ministry believes that in the last 12 days, one crore people have been coronated, but the infection rate has also come down.

In a press conference on Tuesday, Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan told that till August 13, 2.68 crore samples were tested in the country. By this period, the rate of infected samples was 8.93 percent, but now the number of investigations has been 3.68 crores. Also, the rate of samples getting infected has now been 8.60 percent.

This suggests that the number of infected samples has decreased as the scope of investigation increases. Even after joining the countries with the world's largest population, more investigation is being done in India than in other countries.

Rajesh Bhushan said that the number of patients cured by the coronavirus in the country is 3.4 times more than the active cases. Of the total cases, active cases are just 22.2 percent. The recovery rate of patients with coronavirus in the country is continuously increasing. Bhushan said that now the rate in the country should be more than 75 percent

has gone. Also, the coronavirus has a mortality rate of 1.8 percent, one of the lowest in the world. There has been a decrease of 6400 active cases of corona in the last 24 hours. Out of the total active cases, only 2.7 percent of the patients are on oxygen support. At the same time, 1.9 percent of patients are on ICU and 0.29 percent of patients are on ventilator support.

He said that 58,390 deaths have occurred due to infection, of which 69% are males and 31% are females. 36 percent of 45–60 age groups and 51 percent of deaths occurred in people aged 60 or above.

The plan prepared in three phases increased the data of investigation in the country: ICMR

Until the first corona-infected patient was found on January 30 in the country, 10 samples were being tested daily, which has recently reached 1 million.

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) attributed the increase in the investigation to the plan prepared in three phases. In the first phase, RT PCR, in the second phase the TriNet-CBNet-Abbott 30 machine and in the third phase, antigen test kits were started.

Dr. Balram Bhargava, Director General of ICMR, told in a press conference on Tuesday, "Cobas machines have been installed in five research centers in the country, which are testing samples from 1200 to 1500 daily. As of now, there are 171 VTM kits in the country, through which samples are taken.

Before the Corona period, most of them were supplied from abroad, but now 119 kits are being produced by indigenous companies. Similarly, 62 out of 186 of RN extractions, 11 out of 104 antibody kits, one out of 17 in antigen kits, 10 out of 36 ELISA kits, and 46 out of 212 RT PCR are being constructed in India.

Dr. Bhargava said that the work of publication of the ICMR Siro Survey is going on. It may be published in the Indian Journal of Medical Research this week. It has been reviewed.
