Bal Bhavan should start a national award: Nishank

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' said on Tuesday that Bal Bhavan should start a 'National Award' to promote creativity among children at the national level. Dr. Nishank said this while addressing a meeting of Bal Bhavan here today. The meeting was attended by School Education Secretary Anita Karwal Joint Secretary RC Meena and other officials.


Nishank said that National Bal Bhavan is a big platform for creative activities of children and we should also increase our activities in regional centers so that the maximum number of children can benefit from it.

He also said that to promote creative talent among the children of Rashtriya Bal Bhavan, we should start a national level award. He also directed the officials to take action in this regard. He also said that today, through webinars, students can be involved in various activities and focus on the cultural exchange so that they can know and understand the rich and diverse culture of the country.

Dr. Nishank asked the officials to tell us how we should take the activities of National Bal Bhavan to the international level. The Education Minister undertook various activities of National Bal Bhavan and directed that its activities should be expedited. He reviewed the two-year activities of the National Bal Bhavan and its training program. He reviewed the National Bal Bhavan and instructed to fill its vacant posts at the earliest.
