In a new development of Sushant Singh Rajput death case, two officers from Mumbai Police have been summoned by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The CBI has summoned the Mumbai Police officers to a guest house where they are interrogating people connected with the probe into the demise of the Kai Po Che actor. The CBI has also asked the two officers to bring documents linked to the case.

A CBI team reached Mumbai on Friday after the Supreme Court ordered the investigational agency to take over the case from the state police. The agency has not yet summoned Sushant Singh Rajput girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, Sushant’s friend, for questioning. The late actor’s family in Bihar has alleged the Bollywood actress mentally harassed him and illegally transferred huge amount of money from his bank account in Mumbai, driving him to suicide. So far the CBI has interrogated a staff member of Sushant and his friend Sidharth Pathani, both key witnesses in the case, among others.
