UPSC CDS 2020 application process to end today, apply at upsconline.nic.in

NEW DELHI: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conclude the online application process for the Combined Defence Services Examination (II) 2020 today i.e., August 25, 2020.

Eligible candidates who are yet to fill up the application forms are advised to visit the official website of UPSC Online — upsconline.nic.in — to apply for the UPSC CDS examination 2020. The online application process for UPSC CDS 2020 commenced on August 5.

Candidates can withdraw the online applications from September 1 to 7 till 6.00 pm.

Application Fee

Candidates (Female/SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs 200 (Rupees Two Hundred Only) either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India or by using Visa/Master/Rupay Credit/Debit Card.

How to apply

* Candidates need to apply Online using the link www.upsconline.nic.in

* The filling of the online application contains two parts.

* In Part I registration, candidates will have to fill basic information. On submission of details, candidates will be prompted to check the details and make corrections, if any, in the application.

* Part-II Registration consists of following Stages: filling up Payment details (except for fee exempted candidates), uploading of Photograph, Signature, Photo Identity Card Document, selection of examination centre and Agreeing to Declaration.

* Candidate should click on the “I agree” button after he /she finds that information supplied by him /her is in order and no correction is required. Thereafter no correction/modification will be allowed.


* When the “I agree” button is clicked, a page with Registration Number will be generated.


* Note down Registration Number or take a print out of the page.


* The application is incomplete without payment, uploading of scanned photograph, signature, Photo Identity Card Document, selection of centre and agree to declaration.
