NEW DELHI: Auto stocks were trading higher at 11:16AM (IST) on Tuesday.
Shares of Ashok Leyland (up 1.46 per cent), Tata Motors (up 1.36 per cent), Eicher Motors (up 1.27 per cent), Bharat Forge (up 1.2 per cent) and Bosch (up 0.85 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Exide Industries (down 1.15 per cent), Bajaj Auto (down 0.82 per cent), Amara Raja Batteries (down 0.4 per cent) and Balkrishna Industries (down 0.26 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
The Nifty Auto index was trading 0.56 per cent up at 7992.55 around 11:16AM.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 1.20 points at 11465.25, while the BSE Sensex was up 15.22 points at 38814.3.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 20 were trading in the green, while 29 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, SBI, LIC Housing Fin and ICICI Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Max Financial Services, Affle (India) Ltd., Timken India, Indiabulls Ventures (PP) and Bank of Maha hit their fresh 52 week high in today's trade, while hit fresh 52 week low in trade.
