A kebab shop in the heart of Brisbane's nightlife precinct was fined $6772 after videos were posted online showing a large crowd of customers breaking out into dancing.

Police said the incident occurred about 3am on Sunday inside the shop, in the popular Brunswick Street Mall nightlife precinct in Fortitude Valley.

Further vision of the crowd's dancing emerged online, with footage recorded inside the kebab shop showing the large number of people within the confined space.
