England vs Pakistan (ENG vs PAK) 3rd Test Highlights: England paceman Jimmy Anderson became the first fast bowler to reach 600 wickets in test cricket before the third and final test against Pakistan finished as a draw on Tuesday, leaving the home side to celebrate a second series victory of the pandemic-disrupted summer.
Less than two hours of cricket were played on a rain-affected Day 5, with England taking just two of the eight wickets needed to win the match at the Rose Bowl after Pakistan resumed on 100-2 and trailing by 210 runs.
The big consolation was Anderson took one of them, removing Pakistan captain Azhar Ali to join retired spinners Muttiah Muralitharan, Shane Warne and Anil Kumble in the “600 club” in tests.

Covers off, preparations underway
Well, the official lunch timing has passed and still no cricket in Southampton so far on the final day. The side covers are coming off though, so that's a good news. The pitch officials are in work right now. Fingers crossed.

The sun is out
Well...well... well... This script is turning out to be quiet an extraordinary one. Meanwhile, Shoaib Alvi asks on social media, "Wonder if that extra hour that England batted on 2nd day for no extra gain will haunt Joe Root. The way Anderson was bowling another 7 overs from him could have got Pakistan 6 down. The next day the ball didn’t do as much."

Rain has stopped!
As per latest reports, it has stopped raining in Southampton and the groundsmen are out in the centre, trying to fix the wet outfield.
After a James Anderson masterclass bowled the visitors out for 273 in their first innings, England enforced the follow on. In their second attempt, Pakistan showed enough grit as Shan Masood (18) and Abid Ali (42) started solidly facing the new ball. The day ended after bad light and rain made their entrances and Pakistan were on 100/2 with Azhar Ali (29*) and Babar Azam (4*) in the middle with James Anderson on 599 Test wickets.
