Nokia 5.3 and Nokia C3 launched in India: Price, availability and more

HMD Global, the Finland-based company that has license to manufacture and sell Nokia-branded handsets, has launched two smartphones in India — Nokia 5.3 and Nokia C3. While Nokia 5.3 is a budget smartphone, Nokia C3 is an entry-level smartphone. The company claims that Nokia C3 is India-first smartphone.

Nokia 5.3 comes in two RAM and storage options: 4GB/ 64GB and 6GB/64GB, priced at Rs 13,999 and Rs 15,499 respectively. The Nokia 5.3 can be purchased in three colour options — Cyan, Sand and Charcoal and will go on sale starting September 1. The pre-booking of the device starts today, August 25.

Nokia C3 has two RAM and storage variants: 2GB/16GB and 3GB/32GB, priced at Rs 7,499 and Rs 8,999. Nokia C3 comes in two colour options — Nordic Blue and Sand and will go on sale starting September 17. The pre-booking of the device starts September 1.

Running on stock Android 10 operating system out of the box, the Nokia 5.3 smartphone is said to get 2 years of Android upgrades and 3 years of monthly security updates.
The handset offers a display of 6.5-inch HD+ screen of 1600x720p resolution with a water drop notch and a 2.5D glass front.
The Nokia 5.3 smartphone comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor. On the storage front, the device offers 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. For those who want more, there is a dedicated microSD card on the device that can support up to 512GB storage.

For imaging duties, the Nokia C3 has a single 8MP camera on the back and a 5MP selfie sensor on the front.
Backed by a 3040mAh removable battery, the Nokia C3 is said to deliver up to 50 hours of talk time on 2G, 23 hours on 3G and 22 hours on 4G.
