Nityanand Rai inaugurates a 500-bed Covid Hospital!

Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityananda Rai inaugurated the 500-bed COVID Care Hospital at Bihta in Patna district of Bihar on Monday from the PM Cares Fund. This hospital is built on the lines of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Makeshift Hospital in Delhi.


At the inauguration of the hospital, Nityananda said that the hospital has been inaugurated under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the same way that the country is fighting the Corona epidemic and achieving success.

He assured the people of Bihar that the Prime Minister has greatly helped the state in the battle of COVID-19 and it will continue in the future. Rai said that all facilities in this hospital are available free of cost and any corona virus-infected person can come for direct treatment without a referral.

Nityananda said that this 500-bed hospital has 125 ventilator-equipped ICU beds and 375 normal beds. The seven-story ESIC hospital has oxygen available on every bed. The doctors, nurses, and other support personnel will be from the Indian Army.

The Prime Minister had announced the opening of two large 500-500-bed hospitals in Bihar from the PM Cares Fund, out of which one hospital was inaugurated today and the other hospital would soon be ready in Muzaffarpur district of Bihar.

These hospitals have been set up in Patna and Muzaffarpur in Bihar for the fight against COVID-19 by the Defense Research and Development Organization.
