Rajasthan: Kota will now have lockdown for only one day!

Kota in Rajasthan will now have a lockdown of only one day instead of two days a week.

In this regard, the District Magistrate has also given his consent. For the past two weeks, it was decided to keep the lockdown on Sunday and Monday. Last week, the Kota Trade Federation strongly opposed it.

Federation President Kranti Jain said that this order of the administration was deeply resentful of all the traders of Kota as traders have already suffered considerable economic losses due to long lockdown due to the transition of COVID-19 and they face further economic crisis.

Mr. Jain said that the federation had expressed its opposition in front of the District Magistrate and demanded only a one-day lock-down, which was accepted. Now there will be a lockdown only on Sunday. He informed that on the call of the federation, a meeting of traders is being held in Kota in which the situation arising out of the lockdown in Kota will be reviewed.

On the other hand, administrative sources said that from next week, the quota will be locked on Sunday only, but it can also be reconsidered if the infection increases.
