Coronavirus pandemic: I&B Ministry issues list of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for shooting films

After shoots being stalled for almost six months due to COVID-19 pandemic, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has now issued standard operating procedures for shoots of films. The I&B Minister, Prakash Javadekar in his tweet shared the list of SOPs that will help create a safe working environment for all. The SOPs includes installing Aarogya Setu app, wearing mask throughout except for the time in front of camera, mandatory PPE kit for makeup artistes and hairstylists, minimum use of props and sharing of costumes, wig, etc. Furthermore, a designated supervisor will have to keep record of the red, orange or green zone where the shoots are done along with keeping medical and travel history of the crew members.
