SUSHANT SINGH RAJPUT DEATH CASE: ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW
Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging at his Bandra residence on the morning of June 14. His death was declared a suicide by the Mumbai Police, who filed an Accidental Death Report the same day and began investigating the case.
On July 25, Sushant Singh Rajput’s father, KK Singh filed a complaint in Patna’s Rajiv Nagar Police Station against Rhea Chakraborty, her family, Shruti Modi and Samuel Miranda.
Rhea then moved the Supreme Court and filed a petition on July 29, denying the allegations against her and seeking transfer of the case from Bihar to Mumbai.
On August 5, the Centre told SC that they have accepted the Bihar government’s recommendation to transfer the case to CBI. The SC verdict came out on August 19, and the CBI was given full control of the investigation.
