Days after Akshay Kumar's appeal to people, street vendors were seen getting back in business. People got out of their homes to buy fruits and vegetables from vendors. In fact, in a video that is now going viral, a man is heard saying that Akshay Kumar has passed the message to them.

The man is seen looking into the camera as he leaves. The street vendor says 'dhanyavad', while also earning an income after days.

In his video, Akshay Kumar had shown various street vendors - fruits and vegetable sellers, cobblers, vendors who earn during traffic signal, people who sell breakfast and dairy on wheels, tea-sellers. Khiladi Kumar was heard pleading that people should try and buy something from at least one vendor a day, even if they do not need it.

Akshay made the video to raise awareness about the suffering of the street vendors after their business was shut due to COVID-19 and monsoon. He ended the video by saying that if people take responsibility then there is a chance that nobody would sleep hungry in India again.

Akshay Kumar has been at the forefront in raising awareness about coronavirus. He featured in an advertisement which mentioned the importance of wearing a mask, and recently he also raised awareness that how people spitting in public is the root cause for viruses.

The actor is currently shooting for his upcoming movie 'Bell Bottom' in UK. Lara Dutta and Huma Qureshi have joined him there, while the female lead Vaani Kapoor, who celebrates her birthday today, will be seen with them later. 'Bell Bottom' was the first movie to commence international shoot after COVID-19 lockdown.
