Best beauty Instagrams of the week: Mira Rajput Kapoor and Disha Patani

While some celebrities like Priyanka Chopra  and Samantha Akkineni played it safe with their beauty choices (and let their radiant skin shine through), others like Disha Patani and Hailey Bieber balanced things out by being ultra-experimental with colour and texture.

Dewy skin filled the feeds of Instagram over the past week, thanks to the sunny sunlit selfies that celebrities have been loving. Samantha Akkineni got up and close personal, showing off her two new piercings with a casual car selfie. She went sans makeup, but showed that a good moisturiser can hit just the right high points of the face. Priyanka Chopra Jonas took a snap of herself while out for a hike—an easy braid over her shoulders, and a luminous glow intact. “Mother nature's medicine,” she captioned it. With her hair pulled back into a bun, Jennifer Lopez went the no-makeup makeup route, but the little product that she wore accentuated her cheekbones and brow bones. Mira Rajput Kapoor, who had a virtual promotional event, stuck to her classic eye makeup look: a thick line of kajal on the upper lashline coupled with a rosy lip and cheeks combination.

Disha Patani and Kaia Gerber played with bold colour

Disha Patani embraced a molten golden lid moment with glossy lips, defined cheekbones and creamy pink cheeks. Meanwhile, Karisma Kapoor wore her favourite blue eyeliner to a party with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan, calling out on an Instagram story that it was her favourite pick. Kapoor picked a shimmery blue, and wore it on her upper and lower lashline, accentuating it with a few swipes of mascara. Even Hailey Bieber tried a new eyeliner colour, choosing a subtle lilac shade. Elsewhere, Kaia Gerber opted for a brand-new hairstyle, bleaching her brown hair blonde, and then colouring it candy-floss pink. In a behind-the-scenes video of the process, Gerber shares the joy she felt of changing up her strands: “I feel like when I cut my hair it changed my life a lot. I felt more like my own person.”
