Woman found dead on Sunshine Coast street on Saturday morning
A murder investigation has been launched after a woman's body was found on a street in the Sunshine Coast hinterland on Saturday morning.
Police were phoned in the early hours following reports that a woman had been seriously assaulted near the Nambour RSL.

"Emergency services attended, however the 31-year-old Buddina woman was declared deceased at the scene," police said in a statement.
Police dogs were brought in to search the area about 1.30am on Saturday.
A 34-year-old Burnside man was found and remains in police custody, although he has not been charged.
"A crime scene has been declared and an incident centre established, with detectives from the Sunshine Coast and forensic officers continuing their investigations," the police statement read.
