Conduct entrance exams like NEET and JEE after Deepawali: Swami requested to Prime Minister

BJP MP Subrahmanyam Swamy on Friday appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to conduct exams like NEET and JEE in the wake of COVID-19 after Diwali. In a tweet, Swamy said that he has spoken to Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and has written an insistent letter to the Prime Minister on the subject.


Swamy said in a letter to Modi, "There is widespread disappointment among the youth as this exam is an ar or cross battle for them, and for this, they will have to be fully prepared." He also wrote in the letter that the epidemic The necessary framework for conducting these examinations is not in the country.

The JEE (Main) exam is scheduled to be held between September 1 to 6 and the JEE (Advanced) on September 27. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) will be held on 13 September. On Monday, the Supreme Court dismissed the plea seeking to postpone the JEE (main) April and NEET-inter-graduate examinations in the wake of the Kovid-19 epidemic.

He said that the decision of the Supreme Court is not binding on the government. He indicated that in his view conducting suicides could lead to 'suicides'.
