BKU Haryana holds meeting at Kurukshetra to decide on agitation against agriculture ordinances

KURUKSHETRA: Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) Haryana (Charuni) held a meeting at Kamboj Dharamshala in Kurukshetra on Saturday, to decide on the further course of action to intensify agitation against three agriculture ordinances.
During the meeting, BKU appointed several new office bearers of its organization and tasked them with duties to spread the word against ordinances and invite farmers after visiting rural areas in the region for an upcoming state-level rally against the Centre at grain market, Pipli in Kurukshetra on September 10.
BKU Haryana media coordinator Rakesh Kumar Bains said, "In the meeting, new office bearers have been appointed and they are tasked to make the upcoming rally successful against three ordinances of the Centre. It has been decided on Saturday, that the copies of ordinances will be burnt in all the villages in Haryana on coming September 5. Our workers will run a campaign in all the villages to invite farmers for participating in the rally at Pipli on September 10.”
"In the rally at Pipli on September 10, further course of action against ordinances will be announced in the farmers’ gathering", said Bains.
