Thane: Former corporator demands KDMC to fill potholes on Dwarli road in Kalyan

KALYAN: A former corporator, Kunal Patil, has demanded Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) to fill potholes using good quality materials on Dwarli village road stretch situated on Kalyan-Malang road or else he will start an agitation.
Due to potholes on Dwarli stretch, many people have lost their lives in road accidents. Patil said despite many deaths on the stretch, the KDMC have failed to fill up the potholes.
Patil said looking at his demand, KDMC recently had started filling potholes but they are using inferior quality of mud and pits, to which he has objected demanding use of good quality materials.
Patil demanded KDMC to fill potholes ahead of Ganesh immersion so that people will not have to face inconvenience.
