Municipal Corporation of GurugramGURUGRAM: After the last House meeting was cancelled, MCG has decided to hold the meeting on August 28. The agenda of the meeting has not been issued yet.
“For the last meeting, I had received agenda items from 28 councillors and have now received two more agendas. All of these 30 agendas, which are the key works in the wards, will be taken up in the meeting scheduled for August 28,” said mayor Madhu Azad. Officials said that the transfer of private colonies by the civic body is also likely to be discussed in the House meeting.
MCG had scheduled its meeting for July 6 but it was cancelled due to the non-availability of the mayor. The agenda of the last meeting had the proposal to give alternate land in exchange for redundant revenue roads that fall under the licensed projects of the builders. Some councillors, however, are against the proposal.
The civic body had floated a similar proposal in 2018 to permit builders to exchange the revenue roads with their land of equal dimensions.
