No bail for juvenile who eloped with girl last year

Greater Noida: The district court on Thursday denied bail to a juvenile who was held last year for allegedly eloping with a girl. The alleged incident took place in May 2019 and an FIR was lodged on June 17 when the cops located the girl in Faridabad and got her home. Later, the parents found she was pregnant and an FIR was lodged against the boy under sections of kidnapping and rape. The boy was caught on June 25, a court order said.
Government counsel GL Yadav said the bail was denied as it was believed that the boy might hamper the probe if released.
