A trailer filled with sheep ended up on its roof following a three-vehicle crash in Denbighshire.
The container flipped and landed upside down in a ditch after a collision on the unnamed road between Trefnant and the Colomendy Industrial Estate in Denbigh on Friday afternoon.
Passersby helped to free the sheep from the trailer before they were put onto the back of a pick-up and removed from the scene of the crash.
Police said they were called at around 1.16pm on Friday following the collision, which involved an Audi A5, a Mitsubishi L200 Animal and a Mercedes A200.

A spokesman said the road was blocked for around two hours as a result of the collision, but nobody was hurt.
It is not clear if any sheep were injured in the incident.
Eyewitness Peter Evans said the Audi was travelling in the direction of St Asaph when the vehicle was in collision with the sheep trailer being towed from the opposite direction.
He said the sheep trailer was "catapulted into the air" before coming to rest in the ditch.

The Audi spun around and collided with the Mercedes as it came in the opposite direction, Mr Evans added.
He added that he ran to assist the female driver of the Audi, who was uninjured after the vehicle's airbags went off.
Images from the scene showed that the Audi and Mercedes sustained significant damage as a result of the collision.
