Ghaziabad has 81 new Covid cases, Noida adds 79 to tally

NOIDA/GHAZIABAD: Ghaziabad reported 81 fresh cases of Covid-19 on Thursday.
While 77 people have been discharged from various facilities across the district in the past 24 hours, so far, 5,785 people have been discharged after treatment in Ghaziabad.
The district’s Covid death toll is at 67 now.
The number of active cases stands at 1,103.
Meanwhile, between July 17 and August 17, surveillance teams have screened 5,01,449 people and of them 57 tested positive.
The district has 302 containment zones now
In Gautam Budh Nagar, 79 fresh Covid-19 cases have been reported on Thursday.
The district’s Covid tally now stands at 6,776.
According to the state report, there are 794 active cases in the district now.
The death toll in the district stands at 43.
Meanwhile, 67 patients admitted to various hospitals across the district have been discharged after receiving treatment in the past 24 hours.
In all, 5,939 patients have recovered so far.
The district administration on Thursday released an updated list of 276 containment zones on.
Of those, 247 containment zones are in category 1 and 29 are in category 2.
