Bengaluru adds nearly 3,000 cases, Karnataka tally 2.5 lakh

BENGALURU: Karnataka’s Covid cases on Thursday crossed 2.5 lakh and its toll stood at 4,429 with addition of 102 fatalities in the past 24 hours.
According to the health department, Karnataka reported 7,385 fresh cases and 6,231 recoveries. Bengaluru city reported 2,912 new cases in the said period, and its total is nearing 1 lakh.
Among 102 deaths, Bengaluru reported 25, Ballari reported eight and Koppal and Hassan reported seven deaths each. Ballari reported 483, Belagavi reported 358 and Udupi reported 351 positive cases.
