Veteran Indian cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin had to leave his family behind as he boarded the flight with his Delhi Capitals (DC) teammates for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for the upcoming kickoff of the Indian Premier League (IPL). With the 13th edition of the IPL just less than a month away, teams are gearing up to prepare for the tournament which will be held in the UAE in a bio-secure environment. While Ashwin left his Chennai house, his two daughters suggested some "tips to stay safe" during his flight to UAE for IPL 2020.
Ashwin's wife, Prithi, shared a video on social media where their two daughters can be heard telling their father to obey all social distancing protocols while also asking him to not hug anyone.
"Our girls giving @ashwinravi99 tips to stay safe during his flight. It's going to be super hard without him :( I mean who is going to sit for two sets of online classes now? #thatthatmanthatthatproblem," Prithi Ashwin captioned her tweet.

IPL 2020 was originally scheduled to start on March 29 with CSK scheduled to face Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede in the season opener. However, the tournament was initially postponed to April 15 and then indefinitely due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the ensuing lockdown in the country.
