Ambala City MLA Aseem Goel also tested positive for Covid-19 on Friday. MLA Aseem shared the information on his social media platform. He wrote on his Facebook, “On getting the initial symptoms of corona, I got the test done and the report came back positive. My health is fine, but on the advice of doctors, I am home quarantined. I request all of you, who have come in contact with me in the last few days, to please isolate yourself and get your test done.”
Public urged to get tests done from government labs only

Dr Kuldeep said, “It has come to notice that the laboratories in Ambala district which are conducting Covid-19 antibody testing are concealing the fact that ‘antibody testing’ report is not credible. Whereas in actuality, the credible reports are obtained only with the help of rapid antigen, RT-PCR, TRUNAAT and CBNAAT and these tests are being conducted in Ambala only the government lab and there is only one private lab which is conducting RT-PCR test. It is appealed to the general public that a person who reported negative from any private lab can test positive in future and can spread the Covid-19 in society and family. Therefore, it is requested that on noticing any symptoms, the public should get themselves tested from government hospital only.”
