Under financial crisis, factory owner ends life

Rajkot: A factory owner in Shapar Veraval industrial zone of Rajkot committed suicide by consuming pesticides on Wednesday night.
Police said their preliminary investigation revealed that Anil Zarsania (48), a resident of Gopal Chowk on Sadhu Vasvani Road in Rajkot, had taken the drastic step as he was unable to cope with the financial crisis he was passing through.
“Zarsania is survived by two sons and a wife. We sent his body for forensic post mortem, the report of which confirmed his death due to pesticide consumption,” said V C Jadeja, assistant sub-inspector with Shapar Veraval police station.
