Gujarat: Angry son kills father for hitting his mother in inebriated state

PALANPUR: A 26-year-old resident of Bhiloda taluka in Aravalli district was booked by the police on Thursday for killing his father Dudhabhai Taral. The accused identified as Dinesh Taral was furious after he saw his father beating his mother at their home on Wednesday night.
The police said that Dinesh, who stays in Balundra village, picked up some sharp weapon and attacked his 58-year-old father on head. Dudhabhai suffered severe injuries and died on the spot. The accused later fled from the spot. According to the police, the deceased used to get drunk and thrash his wife regularly. Dinesh, a casual labourer, had warned his father several times to not hit his mother. “We have begun search for the accused,” said J K Rajput, police sub-inspector, Bhiloda.
