Malala is starting her book club

Activist, Nobel Laureate and author Malala Yousafzai is an inspiration to many young girls and women across the world. And now, after graduating from Oxford University in June this year, the young author is all set to start her digital book club in October 2020.
Malala's upcoming book club is aptly called 'Fearless' and it will feature bold and inspiring women writers who portray the world in a different perspective. Each month Malala will select a book which she'll read and later discuss with her followers. The digital book club will be hosted by Literati. "People have heard my story already. I think it’s time for people to listen to other womens’ stories as well," Malala is quoted on Literati's website.

Talking about the new book club, Malala said in an interview to Bustle, "My hope is that readers join to explore new ideas and voices in the literary world... And I hope it’s a moment of empowerment for the authors.”
Malala, 23, further revealed that Paulo Coelho's 'The Alchemist' is her "all-time favorite book". She also said that she prefers reading non-fiction books, "mostly autobiographies and real-life stories, or novels that reflect the real world".

Some books written by Malala Yousafzai include 'I Am Malala', 'We Are Displaced' and 'Malala's Magic Pencil'.
