Karnataka KCET result 2020 announced at karresults.nic.in; check list here
NEW DELHI: Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) on Friday declared the Common Entrance Test (CET) 2020 results on its official website.
Candidates who have appeared for the examination can now check Karnataka CET 2020 results online on the official websites - kea.kar.nic.in, karresults.nic.in.
Around two lakh candidates had appeared for the Karnataka CET examination 2020. The results were delayed this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Yet again, boys swayed away with top ranks in Karnataka CET 2018 across all four streams—engineering and degree programmes in agriculture, veterinary sciences and pharmacy.
The year the CET Exams were conducted on July 30 and July 31, 2020 under the supervision of health personnel. Usually the authority holds the exam during the first weekend of May but it postponed the dates in the wake of Covid-19 situation in the state.
Taking note of the Covid-19 pandemic, deputy chief minister CN Ashwathnarayan informed that the counselling process will be held online this year.
Candidates should note that there will be two rounds of counselling and one round of extended counselling and there will be no additional round of counseling and he fees and the seat-matrix ratio will remain the same as it was for the academic year 2019-2020
Steps to check KCET result 2020
1) Log on to the official KCET websites - kea.kar.nic.in, karresults.nic.in
2) Now click on the ‘CET- 2020’ result link, given on the homepage
3) Enter your registration number, roll number and then click on the submit button
4) Your KCET 2020 Results will appear on the screen
5) Download it, and take a print out for further reference.
