Jayanti Special: Rajiv Gandhi became Prime Minister at the age of 40!

Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday paid homage to his father, former Prime Minister late Rajiv Gandhi, saying he was a generous and loving person. Today is the 75th birth anniversary of the Prime Minister.

While paying homage to his father, Mr. Gandhi tweeted with a photo, Rajiv Gandhi was an amazing watcher and a man far ahead of his time. But beyond all this, he was a generous and loving man.

He further wrote, "I feel very lucky and proud to have him as my father. We remember them today and every day.

Self Mr. Gandhi became the Prime Minister at the age of sixth and youngest in the country at the age of 40. His tenure was from 1984 to 1989.
