NEW DELHI: Capital Goods stocks were trading on a mixed note at 02:03PM (IST) on Thursday.
Shares of Carborundum Universal (up 5.08 per cent), V-Guard Industries (up 4.52 per cent), Kalpataru Power Transmission (up 3.2 per cent), Lakshmi Machine Works (up 3.07 per cent) and GMR Infrastructure (up 3.07 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Hindustan Aeronautics (down 3.91 per cent), Larsen & Toubro (down 1.3 per cent), Bharat Electronics (down 1.07 per cent), Siemens (down 0.85 per cent) and SKF India (down 0.69 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
The S&P BSE Capital Goods index was trading 0.52 per cent down at 14009.79 around 02:03PM.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 116.55 points at 11291.85, while the BSE Sensex was down 450.96 points at 38163.83.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 13 were trading in the green, while 37 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, Zee Ent., Tata Power and BHEL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
