NEW DELHI: Infrastructure stocks were trading on a mixed note at 02:22PM (IST) on Thursday.
Shares of NHPC (up 11.24 per cent), Tata Power Company (up 8.47 per cent), NTPC (up 6.13 per cent), Torrent Power (up 4.96 per cent) and CG Power & Industrial Solutions (up 4.9 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Suzlon Energy (down 2.53 per cent), Bharti Airtel (down 2.02 per cent), Reliance Infrastructure (down 2.02 per cent), Larsen & Toubro (down 1.38 per cent) and Vodafone Idea (down 1.15 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
The Nifty Infrastructure index was trading 0.06 per cent up at 3258.5 around 02:22PM.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 95.95 points at 11312.45, while the BSE Sensex was down 388.31 points at 38226.48.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 14 were trading in the green, while 36 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Zee Ent., Tata Power, Vodafone Idea and NTPC were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Aditya Birla Fashion (PP), ABB Power Products, Essel Propack, Torrent Power and Atul Ltd hit their fresh 52 week high in today's trade, while CKP Leisure Ltd., SMVD Poly Pack Ltd., IRIS Clothings Ltd. and CKP Products Ltd. hit fresh 52 week low in trade.
