Rajasthan's Medical and Health Minister, Dr. Raghu Sharma said that three months of medicines will be made available to patients of non-communicable diseases like heart disease, diabetes, and TB across the state through mobile vans to their revenue villages.

Principal Secretary of Medical Department Akhil Arora has issued instructions in this regard. According to the instructions, once in two months to the revenue village of patients suffering from non-communicable diseases, doctors for medical consultation, pharmacists for dispensing medicine, lab technicians to check and nursing personnel for the convenience of nursing care if serious patients are found. Mobile medical vans will also be provided to each revenue village.

Shri Arora informed that the State Government has given the opportunity for heart disease, diabetes, and TB. For non-communicable diseases like free drug delivery is arranged at the drug delivery center. Presently, due to conditions arising from Kovid, sick persons in some places are hesitant to come to the drug delivery centers located in medical institutions, which is likely to disrupt their treatment.
