2021 Lexus LC Coupe And Convertible Launched In The UK With New Features, £80,100 Starting Price

After receiving the same upgrades as the American models earlier this summer, the Euro-spec Lexus LC has now launched in the United Kingdom, where customer deliveries will begin in fall.

The V8-powered LC 500 Coupe and LC 500h V6 hybrid Coupe start at £80,100 (equal to $105,693) each, while the LC 500 Convertible will set buyers back at least £90,775 ($119,778).

The better-specced LC 500 and LC 500h Sport Pack and Sport+ Pack can be had from £85,300 ($112,554) and £90,950 ($120,009) respectively, while the LC 500 Convertible Sport Pack has an on-the-road price of £96,625 ($127,498).

Further options include 21-inch forged alloy wheels, semi-aniline leather upholstery (with neck heaters in the open-top model), color head-up display, Mark Levinson premium sound system and special metallic paint finishes, such as Sonic Red, Sonic Titanium, Sonic Silver and Naples Yellow.

Changes include a revamped suspension that drops 22 lbs (10 kg) from the curb weight and improves the feel on the road, upgraded 10-speed automatic transmission that offers higher revs, and a new Active Cornering Assist system added to the stability management program that helps the car corner faster.

The 5.0-liter V8 carries over unchanged in the LC 500 models, making 464 HP (471 PS /346 kW), and the 3.5-liter hybridized V6 soldiers on with the same combined output of 354 HP (359 PS / 264 kW).

In the States, Lexus is already selling the 2021 LC 500, LC 500h and LC 500 Convertible, from $92,950, $97,510 and $101,000, respectively, while the LC 500 Convertible Inspiration Series has an MSRP of $119,800, excluding the destination charge.
