Vice President Venkaiah Naidu said that India, which is the world guru, needs to regain its intellectual leadership again. Should once again emerge as a global center of learning and innovation. Naidu said in the Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievement 2020 program on Tuesday, "Innovation has always been an important element of human progress."

India has a rich history ranging from the invention of zero and Dashmik systems to innovation. We have a lot of talented youngsters who are full of new ideas and have a passion for implementing such ideas while moving on a new path. The youth will define the future of our country. They need to be given encouragement, convenience, and recognition. They need to be provided with the necessary guidance and freedom to find a new plank.

The Vice President said, "Innovation is the need of the hour to create a mass movement and for this students need to be out-of-the-box thinkers." A culture of innovation and entrepreneurship should be promoted among the students. Naidu said that education should be such that it makes students creative. Teach them to think out of the box. The new national education policy has given special attention to innovation.
