NEW DELHI: The
bookings for Toyota's all-new compact SUV,
Urban Cruiser are likely to begin on August 22.
The rebadged
Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is expected to launch during the upcoming festive season.
A few Toyota dealers also took it to Twitter to announce the commencement of bookings for the all-new Urban Cruiser.
Toyota also revealed the theme behind the Urban Cruiser launch campaign recently . The campaign, titled ‘Respect’, is to make sure that the automaker’s youngest SUV makes a clear statement to those who aspire to own a Toyota SUV at a young age.
Toyota Urban Cruiser is expected to get a few changes in terms of exterior styling, however, it is likely to borrow the same 1.5-litre petrol engine for Vitara Brezza.
The all-new Urban Cruiser will be the second rebadged car in India under the
Suzuki-Toyota agreement. Toyota Glanza, the rebadged version of
Maruti Suzuki Baleno, has already touched the 25,000 mark in its sales and the Japanese automaker expects a similar response for the Urban Cruiser.
