#CBIforSSR-Babul Supriyo welcomes the verdict says justice will prevail

This morning, it was announced that the Supreme Court has ordered the CBI to take over investigations into actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death. It is being said that the Mumbai police should hand over all the evidence related to the case to the investigating agency. Babul Supriyo is happy that CBI has ultimately taken over the case. He said, “We are going through a time when quarantined is a word which is being widely used. I feel justice was being quarantined in Mumbai till today morning for Sushant’s case. Nepotism, mental health all these were diluting the real reason of his death which the entire nation should know. It is an established fact now that Mumbai Police didn’t do justice and probe adequately in the case. And now that CBI has taken over I hope they shouldn’t create any road blocks and hand over all evidence which will help CBI to solve the case. How Mumbai Police jumped to the conclusion it was death by suicide is something still haunts many, including me. There are legitimate questions which were sidelined surrounding Sushant’s death. I hope justice will prevail now as the CBI will look into the case.”
