NEW DELHI: Infrastructure stocks were trading on a positive note at 02:38PM (IST) on Wednesday.

Shares of NCC (up 10.36 per cent), IRB Infrastructure Developers (up 9.73 per cent), Reliance Power (up 6.67 per cent), Reliance Infrastructure (up 4.88 per cent) and CG Power & Industrial Solutions (up 4.79 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Suzlon Energy (down 1.25 per cent), Siemens (down 1.16 per cent), Vodafone Idea (down 0.56 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India (down 0.06 per cent) and Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone (down 0.04 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

The Nifty Infrastructure index was trading 0.76 per cent up at 3265.75 around 02:38PM.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 39.95 points at 11425.3, while the BSE Sensex was up 143.51 points at 38671.83.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 27 were trading in the green, while 22 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, Ashok Leyland, Zee Ent., Vodafone Idea and PNB were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of IRB Infra Dev, Atul Ltd, ABB Power Products, KIOCL Ltd. and ITI Ltd hit their fresh 52 week high in today's trade, while Mittal Life Style Ltd., Uniinfo Telecom Services Ltd., AB Infrabuild Ltd., Industrial Investment Trust Ltd. and DRS Dilip Roadlines Ltd. hit fresh 52 week low in trade.
