No entry on Patripul bridge in Kalyan from 10pm to 5am till August 24

KALYAN: The traffic police have restricted entry of all vehicles on old Patripul bridge in Kalyan from Wednesday night till August 24 from 10pm to 5am.
The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC), which is constructing the new Patripul bridge from Wednesday, will start laying girders. The MSRDC have decided to complete bridge work by next month for public use.
Traffic police said the girders will have to be lifted by placing a big crane on the old bridge and these girders will be laid during night hours when traffic will be diverted.
DCP (Traffic) Amit Kale while issuing the order, said very heavy vehicles passing through Kalyan- Shil Road have been barred from entering Ranjanoli Naka on Mumbai-Nashik highway towards Kalyan side and Shil road towards Kalyan side.
These vehicles will pass through Kalwa-Mumbra route. The light vehicles on the route will be allowed through Valdhuni bridge.
