NEW DELHI: Nifty Commodities index was trading higher at 02:45PM (IST) on Wednesday.

<br> Shares of Atul (up 6.2 per cent), <a target="_blank" href="/aarti-industries-ltd/stocks/companyid-11400.cms">Aarti Industries</a> (up 5.05 per cent), Coromandel International (up 4.78 per cent), NMDC Ltd (up 3.21 per cent) and Tata Power Company (up 2.96 per cent) were among the top gainers.

<br> While <a target="_blank" href="/hindustan-zinc-ltd/stocks/companyid-11982.cms">Hindustan Zinc</a> (down 1.18 per cent), Tata Steel (down 0.82 per cent), <a target="_blank" href="/coal-india-ltd/stocks/companyid-11822.cms">Coal India</a> (down 0.7 per cent), <a target="_blank" href="/ambuja-cements-ltd/stocks/companyid-13643.cms">Ambuja Cements</a> (down 0.68 per cent) and Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (down 0.43 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

<br> The Nifty Commodities index was trading 0.63 per cent up at 3218.95 around 02:45PM.

<br> Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 43.25 points at 11428.6, while the BSE Sensex was up 152.75 points at 38681.07.

<br> Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 26 were trading in the green, while 23 were in the red.

<br> Shares of YES Bank, Ashok Leyland, Zee Ent., Vodafone Idea and PNB were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

<br> Shares of IRB Infra Dev, ABB Power Products, <a target="_blank" href="/atul-ltd/stocks/companyid-14027.cms">Atul Ltd</a>, KIOCL Ltd. and Aditya Birla Fashion (PP) hit their fresh 52 week high in today's trade, while Mittal Life Style Ltd., Uniinfo Telecom Services Ltd., AB Infrabuild Ltd., Industrial Investment Trust Ltd. and DRS Dilip Roadlines Ltd. hit fresh 52 week low in trade.
