Employment bureau launch Book-Cafe to help youth for better preparation, coaching

PATIALA: The District Bureau of Employment and Enterprise (DBEE) Patiala has set up a state of the art Book-Cafe at the bureau office to provide employment opportunities to the youth as well as create a conducive environment for them to get them prepared for competitive examinations.
Inaugurating the Book Cafe, Deputy Commissioner Kumar Amit said while the placement camps were being organised by the bureau to provide employment opportunities to the youth, classrooms and book cafe have also been set up for the preparation of competitive examinations so that they could get reading and employment opportunities under one roof.
The CEO of District Bureau of Employment and Enterprise and Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Preeti Yadav said that in the book cafe, students can read as well as have group discussions on topics and get self-study as well as newspapers, magazines, books related to competitive exams and WiFi. She said that coaching classes for competitive examinations were also conducted in the classroom with a capacity of 40 seats at the bureau and e-library facility was also provided by the bureau for the students who wanted to prepare at home.
Preeti Yadav appealed to the youth to take maximum advantage of the facilities being provided by the bureau and for any kind of information, one can come to the bureau and contact the career counsellor.
