Covid-19: India reports 64,531 new cases; death toll mounts to 52,889
The COVID-19 tally in the country rose to 27,67,274 including 6,76,514 active cases on Aug 19. The Spike of 64,531 cases and 1092 deaths reported in India in last 24 hours. With 1092 deaths, cumulative toll reached to 52,889. According to Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), total samples tested up to Aug 18 is 3,17,42,782. Of these 8,01,518 samples were tested yesterday.
