Ravi Kumar Singh, a resident of Gaura village in the Jigna police station area of ​​Mirzapur district, is the owner of a brick kiln. Ravi was the only brother of two sisters. In 2013, Ravi was admitted to 13 Grenadiers at 29 Rashtriya Rifles, Jabalpur. At this time the deployment was in the Baramulla Pattan sector of Kashmir.

On Monday evening, terrorists attacked Baramulla. Ravi Singh became a martyr while taking on the terrorists. Army officials and Ravi's colleagues called and gave information at home.

DM said that the Chief Minister has announced assistance of Rs 50 lakh to the family of the martyr. Also, a paved road will be built up to the house.
