The 26-year-old South African pacer will replace England's Chris Woakes at Delhi Capitals, after the latter pulled out of the upcoming edition of the IPL.
Indian Premier League franchise Delhi Capitals on Wednesday announced Anrich Nortje as the replacement for Chris Woakes ahead of the 2020 edition of the tournament.
“I am excited to join the Delhi Capitals, a team that was the talk of the tournament last season. With its exciting mix of experienced and young players, and a stellar coaching line up, there is no doubt this is going to be a massive learning experience for me. I am grateful to the Delhi Capitals management for giving me this opportunity," Nortje said after joining DC, as per the franchise's press release.
