Covid-19 has infected a large chunk of Pune’s population: Sero Study

MUMBAI: A serological survey conducted in five high-prevalence areas of Pune showed that almost 52% of their population was infected with Covid-19.The study results come when Pune reported the highest number of active cases in India on Monday.The study was conducted by researchers from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Pune, and Translational Health Science and Technology Institute, Faridabad.
